General Terms & Conditions

Warehouse Select served our customer base for over 95 years by offering top product selection, customer service, and huge discounts to our customer’s.  Policies on this page allow us to operate in the most effective manner possible, and are for the good of the entire customer base.  All transactions between all customers, and Warehouse Select, whether via point-of-sale purchase, phone, fax, email, mail, online, or other means fall under the directive of these policies unless expressly noted on your sales order, and approved by Warehouse Select Management. 

Billing

If you place an order with Warehouse Select we will immediately bill your card. We will immediately bill your order regardless of available stock. We do this in order to reserve inventory for your order. Orders are fulfilled in the order they were billed, first in/first out.

Quote – Sales Order

If you are still in the process of shopping or you are not 100% committed to your order, please contact a support rep and we will enter a quote for you. This quote will allow you to have your items entered in our system as well as calculate your total and shipping charges. The quote will be emailed to you and we will not proceed until we have your approval. Once you are satisfied with your quote, a sales order will be generated for you and your order will be billed and processed. Once an order enters the processing stages the order will fall under our Return Policies, should you choose to cancel.

Gift Certificates

Let them choose the gift they want with an Warehouse Select gift card. Gift cards can be used online or in store.  Easy to check your gift card balance online. Gift cards do not expire. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.

In-Stock Items

All new, unused & resalable product returns/exchanges must be made within 30 days of delivery. (please see below for list of non-returnable products). Product damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery. If you have been shorted a product or received an incorrect item you must report this within 3 days of delivery. While Warehouse Select may assist you in placing your order, you (the customer) are ultimately responsible for ensuring all information found on your order is correct. It is your responsibility to ensure these products will work for your specific application & to ensure product compatibility.   If you place an order with Warehouse Select we will immediately reserve the products on your order and bill your card. If your order contains non-stock items, we will hold a full deposit. If you have a deposit with us, rest assured that you will receive your product.

Backorder Policy

You will be alerted to product backorders or delivery delays via your order confirmation. This confirmation is emailed to you. On this confirmation, you will find as estimated shipping date. If any changes need to be made to your order you must contact Warehouse Select within 24 hours or before your order is billed for processing. After 24 hours or billing, Buyer shall have no right to order any change or cancel any order without Warehouse Select's prior written consent and payment to Warehouse Select for all charges and expenses incurred by Warehouse Select. Specially fabricated or custom ordered items may not be canceled or returned.

Ordering

The following order options are available:

If your orders Ship To/Bill To address is not the same address, please allow up to 3 days for your order to process. Warehouse Select must investigate all orders with different Bill To/Ship To addresses. Any item that shows a product availability of "usually ships same or next business day" is considered an in-stock item. We will immediately bill your card, and hold a full deposit for these items. Returns for in-stock items carry a 25% fee. Exchanges for in-stock items carry a 15% fee. Cancellation of in-stock items carries a 15% fee. See return guidelines below for more detail.  

Special Order, Custom Items & Multiple Quantity Orders

We will immediately bill your card, and hold a full deposit for these item types (special order, custom & multiple quantities). Returns, Exchanges or Cancellation of these item types will carry a 25-50% restocking fee (only if item is deemed returnable by management). Not all items can be cancelled. Many  items once ordered are made special for you and the manufacturing company will not cancel your order. If your item was customizable (buyer selected specific item options) and manufactured for your specific use the item will carry a minimum 50% return fee.      

Returns & Exchange Guidelines

Return/Exchange Terms & Conditions

By submitting a request for Return/Exchange of your items you agree to: Customer agrees to pay for the shipping of the items coming back to Warehouse Select. Customer is responsible for fully insuring (for the full purchase price) the items coming back to Warehouse Select. No portion of your original shipping charge is refundable. If you return an item that shipped with “Free Shipping” the amount Warehouse Select paid to ship the product to you will be deducted from your credit. No portion of your expense to ship the product back to Warehouse Select is refundable. You will be charged for the shipping of the new item being sent to you. You agree that if the item(s) is either damaged in transit (back to Warehouse Select) or is deemed by Warehouse Select not to be in good resalable condition, that we have the right to refuse the package(s) and refuse the return. This determination is at the sole discretion of Warehouse Select. Merchandise returned must pass inspection of the following criteria: original packaging, all parts, pieces & instruction manuals, and not fall under non-returnable items/conditions. If during inspection it is noted that an item has been installed, no refund will be issued. When sending a package back to Warehouse Select, please mark the RMA# on the outside of the box that you send the item(s) back in, please do not mark on the original manufacturer’s box. Please ensure that you package your item(s) per the carrier’s guidelines, so if your package(s) is damaged in transit back to us, you will have a better chance of getting your freight claim accepted by the carrier you chose to send the item(s) back by. From past experience this is VERY important, because if the item(s) are refused by Warehouse Select due to shipping damage the only means for you to try to get your money back is through a freight claim with the carrier of your choice. Warehouse Select will charge for call tags, unless we are correcting our mistake. You have 10 days to return the product once you receive your RMA. After 10 business days, your assigned RMA will expire and your case will need be re-evaluated. A credit for your refund will generally be issued within 14 days of receipt of the return to our facilities. If returned goods are not received, no refund will be issued. By submitting a request for a RETURN / EXCHANGE/CANCELLATION of your items it is agreed that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions listed on this page

Un-Authorized Return

Please note that returning any product without an approved RMA is highly discouraged. Without an approved RMA your product may be refused, possibly misplaced or sent to the wrong receiving location. In the event your product is misplaced or sent to a wrong receiving location you will forfeit your opportunity for refund and Warehouse Select will not be held responsible for locating your product. If we do receive the un-authorized return, a 50% fee will be deducted from your refund.

Non Returnable Items/Conditions

Not all items or products are returnable. Consumable and special order items are non-returnable. Discontinued/Closeout items are non-returnable. All returned products must be in new, resalable & unused condition. Warehouse Select will not accept returns on any of the following: Any Installed/Attempted to be Installed or Used Item. Health, Personal Hygiene & Personal Use Items. Chemicals & Cleaning Products. Any items that have been left out in the elements or abused. Any product damaged by customer. Repair/Replacement Parts. Scratch & Dent items.

Outlet Store and Scratch & Dent Item Policy

This is a great option to save money! If you can live with a minor blemish or don't mind that the box has previously been opened, you'll save some serious bucks. These items are primarily products that have been previously returned by other customers or items that have been slightly damaged in our warehouse and can no longer be sold as new. They are products that may have some cosmetic flaws such as scratches, nicks, dents or they are products that have been refurbished. Each item listed in our Scratch and Dent section will have the specific detail on the flaw or defect listed in its description. Some of the reasons that items are sold as Scratch and Dent Specials: During shipping, the product was blemished, dented or scratched. In transit the manufacturer's packaging was damaged, but the contents were unharmed. The product was returned without the original packaging materials. The product was returned without its owner's manual. The product was returned without its accessories. Scratch & dent items are limited. Scratch and dent items are sold as is and are non-returnable.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so before your order is billed & processed. Most orders are billed & processed within 1 hour of submitting. Once the order has been processed, and payment has been accepted, your order falls under the return/cancellation policy and is subject to a minimum 15% cancellation fee. All custom/special order items are non-cancellable. Buyer shall have no right to order any change or modification to any product or service previously ordered by Buyer, or cancel any order without Warehouse Select's prior written consent and payment to Warehouse Select for all charges and expenses incurred by Warehouse Select. Specially fabricated or custom ordered items may not be canceled or returned, and no refund will be made. Please Note: Cancellations must be confirmed by a Warehouse Select employee. If a cancellation request is not confirmed by a Warehouse Select employee and your order ships, the customer is responsible for all return shipping fees that may incur. Shipments in transit qualify as non-cancellable.
PLEASE NOTICE: IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR CANCELLATION, YOUR ORDER HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED!

Defective & Shipping Damage Policy

The sole and exclusive remedy for merchandise alleged to be defective in workmanship or material will be the replacement of the merchandise subject to Warehouse Select and the products manufacturer inspection and warranty. All items are inspected once returned to our warehouse, and if the item is found non-defective or damaged due to customer misuse you will be notified so that you may arrange re-delivery of your item. Within three (3) days of delivery, you, the customer, shall inspect the products for defects, nonconformance, whether due to damage, shortages, errors in shipping or otherwise, and either reject in writing or accept all or a portion of the products. After such (3) day period, you shall be deemed to have irrevocably accepted any products not previously rejected or accepted. After acceptance, you shall have no right to reject the products for any reason whatsoever or to revoke acceptance. You hereby agree that such (3) day period is a reasonable amount of time for such inspection, acceptance or rejection. *In the event a product is damaged by an installer or improperly installed, Warehouse Select is not responsible for any damage to the product or surrounding area and no refund will be issued. NOTE: If your order was delivered via oversized LTL delivery, at the time of delivery you MUST either refuse delivery or sign for the delivery as damaged. If you sign for and accept the delivery without noting damage, items cannot be returned for refund. You shall be deemed to have irrevocably accepted the products.

Shipping

All products shipped by Warehouse Select are shipped F.O.B., point of delivery, with risk of loss transferring to you, the customer, upon tender of goods. If a request made by you causes a shipment delay, or if Warehouse Select ships or delivers the products erroneously as a result of inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information supplied, storage and all other additional costs and risks shall be borne solely by customer.

Delivery Address Change

Please be advised that there is a fee incurred for address changes once an order is processed. Please enter the correct delivery address as you are entering your order. If a change does need to be made after the order is placed and is possible to be accomplished a $15 Ground / $35 LTL delivery address change fee will be charged.

Tracking Information

Shipments sent via UPS, USPS & FedEx will receive tracking information to the email address on the order. You will usually get the tracking info 12-24 hours after the item has shipped. Due to this, please wait 1 FULL business day after placement of order prior to calling regarding tracking information.

Timeliness Policy

We attempt to ship every order as quickly as possible, however we cannot guarantee any delivery times. When available, a notification of backorders and out of stock items will be sent via email. Please do not schedule a designer, plumber or other professional until you have your products in hand. Ordering an expedited shipping method does not guarantee delivery time.

Product Availabilities are an estimate and are dependent on the manufacturer. Warehouse Select is not liable for manufacturing delays.

Sales Tax

No sales tax is collected outside of Kentucky. Kentucky residents must add 6.0% sales tax.

Pricing Errors

Please be advised that due to human error, our site may list incorrect pricing. While we make every effort to ensure these mistakes do not happen, Warehouse Select cannot honor incorrect prices. In the event an error is found, we will inform the customer. At that time, the customer will have the option to place the order with the correct pricing, or to cancel their order completely.

Price Matching Policy

We offer everyday low prices on all items while providing technical assistance, careful packaging, excellent inventory and many other value-added services. If you find a better price on an item we will attempt to match the price and provide you with the lowest total price for the product & service you desire. To honor our price match policy we require the following:

Manufacturer's Warranty

Warehouse Select only sells high quality products from industry respected manufactures around the world. All products sold by Warehouse Select are covered by the manufacturer’s comprehensive warranty. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us or the manufacture. All defective products are subject to a final inspection by the manufacturer. In order for us to honor the manufacturer’s decision, the manufacturer must claim their product defective to replace. Note: It is the customer’s responsibility to use a licensed plumber/gas company to resolve any Tankless Water Heater issues. For your warranty to be valid installation must be done by a licensed professional. Failing to do so will void the manufacture warranty.

Signature Required Service Request

Signature required service is available upon request at no additional charge. If you are uncomfortable with your order being left outside the delivery address please select this service. Warehouse Select leaves this decision up to the customer. Warehouse Select will not be held liable for stolen packages if customer opts out of this service. If you are placing your order online, please be sure to check the box labeled "Signature Required". If ordering over the phone, please inform the support rep that you would like to mark your order Signature Required. Please note that an adult that is 18 years or older will need to sign for your delivery. We recommend the owner of the order be present so they can inspect the delivery for any possible shipping damage immediately. Please be advised that Warehouse Select may elect to add this service to certain types of orders based on content or value unless specific instructions are given to opt out of the service.

Shipping Methods

FedEx UPS Motor Freight Shipments (LTL) * Various Carriers USPS - expect delivery to take up to 15 days. USPS Delivery Note: If you select a USPS delivery method, please allow up to 15 days for delivery. It is not uncommon for the United States Postal Service to have extended delays in delivery service.

Shipping Outside United States of America

Warehouse Select typically does not ship outside the United States. In the event Warehouse Select does approve to ship an order outside the United States the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges. The customer will also be responsible for any taxes, tariffs & duties involved in shipping the order. Orders that ship to addresses outside of the continental 48 states ship via USPS and may take up to 60 days to reach the delivery address. Due to this, no refund or replacement order will be issued for missing/lost orders until 60 days from the order ship date have past.

Backorder Shipping Policy

Warehouse Select reserves the right to ship backorder items by any means available.

Partial Order Shipping Policy

Unless specified otherwise, all orders are held for one full shipment. Additional charges are necessary to receive multiple shipments on one order.

LTL Storage

If you are unable to accept delivery of your LTL shipment it is possible for the LTL Company to temporarily store your order. It is highly advised that you make immediate arrangements for the delivery of your order. LTL storage is not negotiated prior to delivery and additional fees will be incurred due to this. Warehouse Select will provide you a quote with the fees associated with this service and you will be billed.

Re-Box Fee

If you are returning a product back to Warehouse Select, please do NOT write directly on the manufacturers box. Writing directly on the manufacturer’s box will result in a minimum $25 re-box fee and will be deducted from your refund.

Your Consent

By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of the information by Warehouse Select. We do everything in our power to protect your privacy, and we do not share any of your personal information. Any future changes will be posted to our privacy policy if they should arise. The only information we collect is click trails, and entry point web address. Under no circumstances do we disclose it to anyone other than the Warehouse Select marketing team. This site contains links to other sites. Warehouse Select is not responsible for any other web sites. Applicable Law: By purchasing products from Warehouse Select you agree that Kentucky state law will govern any disputes, or litigation. Any such events will be settled within the city of Owensboro, in Daviess County, Kentucky.

Privacy Policy

Warehouse Select has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. All account information transmitted over the web is done using secure servers. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. All Warehouse Select employees must pass a criminal background check. Warehouse Select does NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction. When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We use this information to determine our user’s demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our users.
